Evaluating Websites
For number one I said that number two had the true information, even though both seemed rediculous, number two had been most recently updated. Along with that, no one could obtain the Google Gulp, so it was about a product that didn't even exist; where the Aluminum hats website had people talking about all the hats they made and how satisfied they were with the product. For number three I chose two, because it was a cite made by the government, so you know that the facts are true. The other two, one was written by someone and number three was Wikipedia, so it could've been edited and facts could be wrong.
The discussion over the passed two days has given me new information, like using Boolean search to narrow down what I'm looking for and taking out the things that have nothing to do with my topic. And for looking for reliable websites I learned to look for contact information, and checking for if the article written is biased.

Citation Tools
The citation tools that we used were pretty simple to understand. The first one we used, Easy Bib, it had a list of ways that we could cite everything such as magazine or web page. It had help options and auto cites so it was the easiest for me to understand. The next one we used was Citation Machine, it was harder to use because the layout seemed less organized. The last one we used was Source Aid, which could let you cite things like magazine articles and newspapers. I liked Easy Bib the best, because it was the simplest to understand.

River of Doubt Summary
Teddy Roosevelt was a powerful president who had one two terms of office and was running for a third. In 1913 the result of the election was in and he had taken an extreme loss, beating the republican candidate but losing against the democratic candidate. Ashamed by his loss, Roosevelt went to stay at Sagamore Hill. In 1913-14 Roosevelt went to South America, for a relaxation trip from the pressure he was facing in America. He went with his son Kermit, and met the Prime Minister of Brazil, who told them about a mysterious river that had run through the jungle. They decided to go on an expedition to map the course of the river not knowing how dangerous the trip was. During their travels they were attacked by natives, and their dugout canoes were stuck at the water line. Because of the hard travels, they had to take rations and cut down food supplies. Many people on the expedition, including Roosevelt, grew sick from malaria. From then sickness, Roosevelt had a fever of 105 degrees Fahrenheit and had to be carried by his son. In the end, only three people including Roosevelt and Kermit survived the expedition.

Avatar
An avatar is a computer representation of a user. In your personal life you could use an avatar on your facebook or other social networking sites to let others know who you are, and what your interested in. Avatars can be used in school to give instructions, and introduce new things to a class. Avatars in a business, can be posted to websites to help advertise its company and attract people. I have used an avatar prior, when I was younger I had a Webkinz account. Out of the three sites I liked GoAnimate the best because I enjoyed making the scripts and storylines, they had a lot of sceneries and characters to choose from, and it was cool that you could choose specifically what their voices sound like.

Feed Reader
In comparing Feed Readers I used Google Reader and Blog Lines. Even though the Blog Reader had a lot of things to choose from I liked the Google Reader better, because it was much simpler to use.
